You can start a Red Cross Club in your High School, Middle School, Elementary School, College or University.
The first step to get the club rolling is to obtain permission from your school and then contact your local Red Cross Youth Services Manager. Your school will want to know that you have the support of the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter, a small group of interested students, and a teacher, guidance counselor, or parent (in Elementary Schools) who is willing to serve as club sponsor.
Starting a Red Cross Club is a great way to strengthen your leadership skills, and to develop community service projects supporting the Red Cross, your school and community!
Red Cross Club members are encouraged to attend monthly YES Team meetings, to strengthen their knowledge of Red Cross and to network with Clubs at other schools.
