Youth Advisor/Sponsor Opportunities
The American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter is looking for enthusiastic, dedicated YES Team and School Club Sponsors. These positions will give you the opportunity to help plan community service events, mentor youth, and use your leadership and advisory skills. Advisors must be willing to help the youth plan events and be a good role model to youth volunteers.
YES Team and Red Cross School Club Sponsors attend at least one youth meeting a month, supervise community service events or Red Cross projects planned by the club, and help to train youth to become leaders.
Youth Supervisor Opportunities
The American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter is also looking for individuals willing to help supervise youth at club events and fundraisers. Events that you will have to opportunity to help with include, December gift-wrapping fundraisers, community outreach programs, preparedness fairs, and many other youth run projects.
Become A Red Cross School/Youth Presenter
American Red Cross Bay Area Youth Services can train you to deliver our Preparedness presentations geared towards children Grades K-12. These presentations are designed to be educational and fun and are offered free of charge, in classroom and school assembly settings, as well as to other youth organizations. All courses are designed for a 45-minute to one-hour period; this can be adjusted according to the timeframe that fits best with the school. Learn more about these presentations.
