Red Cross Seeks Volunteers to Help in Gulf Coast: San Francisco, August 24, 2019—The American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter is searching for volunteers to support households in the Gulf Coast during the current hurricane season. We expect approximately 1,250 teams of four to be sent to storm-affected areas. These teams will be trained to operate with a shelter manager, two shelter supervisors and a health care worker.
