Asian Community Preparedness Services provides information to the limited-English-speaking Asian community about disaster preparedness and the services offered by the American Red Cross.

We conduct emergency preparedness courses and provide materials in Cantonese, Mandarin and Tagalog to help the Asian community get ready for emergencies or disasters. We also work with Chinese community to organize preparedness events.

Our Youth for Chinese Elderly program has an "Adopt a Senior" project to provide a mutually beneficial relationship for both parties. The youth develop a sense of community and respect for elders, while seniors receive companionship, earthquake mitigation help, and other assistance.
