AWARD CATEGORIES

This event will recognize local residents and businesses that have shown courage or given back to the community through an extraordinary act of kindness. A Heroes Advisory Committee of civic leaders will review all nominations and select award winners. Awards will be presented in the following categories:

  1. Life Saving: Someone who has performed an extraordinary life saving act
  2. Courageous Act: Someone who has performed an extraordinary act of courage
  3. Act of Kindness (Adult):Someone who has shown an extreme act of kindness or selflessness in a time of need
  4. Act of Kindness (Youth):Someone who has shown an extreme act of kindness or selflessness in a time of need
  5. Community Service (Individual): An individual who has performed a great community service
  6. Community Service (Organization): A business or organization that has performed a great community service
  7. Animal Rescue or Aid: An animal that has protected a human in a time of need or a person who has rescued an animal from a traumatic situation
  8. Other (Please Specify)
