The Bay Area is one of the most diverse communities in the United States and is home to a thriving Latino community, with one in five adults being of Latino descent. Through our Latino community preparedness programs, the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter offers a variety of programs tailored to meet language and cultural needs to ensure this community is prepared before disaster hits.
Our volunteer instructors provide preparedness, first aid and CPR training in Spanish at locations throughout the Bay Area. Host a Spanish-language training with Red Cross instructors for your community group or co-workers, and help make your community stronger and more prepared. Or recruit your own instructors and participate in our Train-the-Trainer program.
