This 160-hour course trains students to provide quality care to residents in nursing homes. Upon successful completion of the course, students will qualify to take the state competency exam to be a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
The course has two components: 60 hours of theory/lab work conducted in the classroom and 100 hours of supervised clinical training at an accredited and state-approved long term care facility.
Classroom location: San Rafael Service Center - 712 5th Avenue, San Rafael, CA 94901.
Clinical training site: Country Villa - San Rafael Healthcare Center, 81 Professional Center Parkway, San Rafael, CA 94903
