Leveraging its expertise in disaster response and preparedness activities, the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter is one of the region’s largest educational providers, training more than 350,000 people each year in lifesaving first aid, CPR and disaster preparedness skills through community and workplace courses offered in the Bay Area. The Red Cross also offers hundreds of courses a year to provide volunteers and members of our community with training to allow them to better serve as disaster responders, first aid/CPR and preparedness educators, and citizens of a global humanitarian movement.
