Leadership Development Center
The Leadership Development Center is a three-day workshop designed to empower youth to become more proactive leaders in preparedness and disaster response. Students attending LDC will participate in workshops and sessions on various topics including safety, preparedness, diversity, public speaking, leadership, international relations and humanitarianism. There will also be games, guest speakers, and fun activities; all structured to help youth recognize their leadership potential.

LDC 2011 will be hosted at Santa Clara University from August 8-11, 2011.

Summer Internship Program
The Summer Internship Program offers high school and college students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter. Our interns are valued team members and help promote the mission and services of the American Red Cross. Positions are offered in a wide range of departments and chapter offices, so interns are able to pursue their interests in various lines of service. The program offers participants stimulating and challenging projects that build their professional skills and leadership experience.

The program commitment is 15 hours/week and runs eight weeks, from June 20-August 12, 2019
