Exploring Humanitarian Law Curriculum for Educators
Print  E-mail
Exploring Humanitarian Law (EHL) is a teacher curriculum produced by American Red Cross with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross. The Exploring Humanitarian Law curriculum provides teachers with the tools to expose students (ages 13-18) to issues of humanitarian law and principles of respect for life and dignity, especially in situations of armed conflict.

The American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter offers free in-service training and resources to school districts and county offices of education in the Bay Area.

In the Bay Area alone, the Red Cross has trained more than 30 educators in the last two years. Take a look at the curriculum online at: http://ehl.redcross.org. If you are an interested administrator and/or educator and would like to find out more or how to schedule a training in your district or school, please contact at kelleyj@usa.redcross.org or 1-888-4-HELP-BAY.
