Kaiser Permanente has been a long-standing sponsor of the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter. Kaiser’s mission is to provide quality care for their members and families, and contribute to the well-being of communities. Kaiser fulfills this mission by helping the Red Cross reach their own goals of giving lifesaving training to as many people as possible throughout our communities.

By partnering with Kaiser Permanente, the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter is able to provide events and services such as CPR Saturday. This event is meant to target low income families and individuals throughout the Bay Area and offer them CPR training for free.

"Kaiser Permanente is proud to sponsor the American Red Cross and its CPR Saturday event that provided valuable CPR training to nearly 3,000 people throughout the Bay Area this year. By working hard to make a difference, Kaiser Permanente and the American Red Cross are making the Bay Area a better place for all of us," said Jennifer Scanlon, director of community relations with Kaiser Permanente of Northern California.

By encouraging people to stay safe and get trained in CPR, it strengthens our local communities and gives them the tools they need to prepare for and respond to disasters big and small.
