February 19, 2010

One lucky bidder will be driving away from the Leake Car Show and Auction in Oklahoma City this weekend in a Chrysler 300 Eco Style, autographed by hundreds of movie stars, television personalities and recording artists, with all proceeds supporting the American Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti.

The car, donated by Chrysler Group’s President and CEO Olivier Francois, was signed by such A-list celebrities as George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Harrison Ford, George Lucas and Sophia Loren at the recent Golden Globe awards, to raise money for the Red Cross. Oprah Winfrey also signed it recently on her television show.

Stars for a Cause selected Leake Auction Company to auction the vehicle during the Oklahoma City auction, February 19-20, at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds. This is a must see car!

About the American Red Cross:
The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies nearly half of the nation's blood; teaches lifesaving skills; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a charitable organization — not a government agency — and depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.
