The American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter got a visit from two agents of the Ford Fiesta Movement on the Friday before Labor Day. Armed with two video cameras and an interest in learning how to get themselves prepared for disaster, Thomas K and Whit S met with Madelyn Mackie, manager of preparedness education, to learn what to do before, during and after an earthquake. Over the next week, the two edited and posted a video about earthquake preparedness on YouTube.

Knows as social media movers-and-shakers, Thomas K and Whit S are participating in the six-month-long Ford Fiesta Movement by lifestreaming and completing a series of missions on behalf of Ford.

Check out their fun video -- complete with vintage footage and the world's "tiniest oversized check" for a $500 donation to the chapter's disaster relief and readiness efforts.
