On May 1, licensed and trained American Red Cross mental health professionals will lead discussions to help military personnel and their families identify and respond to the challenges associated with a transition back home, after serving abroad.
The workshops are open to service members and their loved ones at no charge. Participants will choose from topics including: Clear communication, exploring stress and trauma, identifying depression, relating to children and working through anger. Each workshop will last approximately two hours.
The event will include light refreshments, exhibits and a chance to speak with workshop facilitators in a confidential and supportive environment.

Where: Gresham Hall, Coast Guard Island, Alameda
