This 16-hour course gives you the skills and confidence to respond to an emergency when help may be delayed. Includes how to treat head injuries, hypothermia, allergic reaction, bone and joint injuries, wounds, heat-related emergencies, altitude illness, burns, and much more. Meets the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine guidelines.
Prerequisite Participants must have a valid Adult CPR/AED certification prior to the start of the class. Proof of current Adult CPR/AED certification must be presented to instructor on the first day of class. If the student cannot present this proof on day 1, they cannot continue with the course.
